Wessex Packaging manufactures and distributes packaging materials across the country. As the customer needed extra storage space, but was unable to move an existing machine due to its size, our designers devised the most efficient column grid layout.
The brand-new mezzanine was designed to connect with the preexisting mezzanine and extend the client’s space. The existing handrail was reused, saving the customer money.

Wessex Packaging is a family run business based in Yeovil, Somerset that specialise in the manufacture and distribution of packaging materials across the country.
When they approached Premier Mezzanines, they were desperately in need of extra storage space however were limited due to an existing machine that could not be moved.
Because of this machine, our designers had to work with the customer to come up with the best possible column grid layout which was both economical and allowed the customer to continue business as usual.
Included in the design was for the new mezzanine to meet up with that of an existing one to extend the client’s total space.
This also meant we were able to re-use the existing handrail which resulted in a cost saving for the customer.
