Sofa’s Express were in desperate need for additional storage space to facilitate large containers of extra stock arriving in the near future.
Premier Mezzanines were contacted to find a solution to almost double the existing storage space within their Gloucester warehouse.

Storage Mezzanine Floor Gloucester for Sofa’s Express
A carefully planned mezzanine floor layout was designed to incorporate the existing mezzanine floor area and relocation of two staircases.
The column grid was designed to cause minimum disruption to the ground floor space, taking into account fork lift access to all areas. Several loading gates were incorporated to facilitate the use of mobile conveyors to transfer goods to and from the mezzanine floor.
Full structural fire protection was also installed incorporating a fire rated suspended ceiling to the underside, fire rated edge fascia and column cases.
The whole project was completed on time, ready to accept the delivery of new stock, to enable Sofa’s Express to continue their planned expansion.
Premier also obtained Building Regulations Certification for the client.
