Retail Mezzanine Floor Bristol for Flowervision
Flowervision were growing at a rapid rate and desperately needed extra space to allow the business to continue growing.
Premier were contacted to help find a solution to provide additional space for display of ancillary items for their wholesale customers.
There was sufficient headroom throughout the building to have a Retail Mezzanine Floor installed.
Premier designed and installed a 500m2 mezzanine floor, with a feature “2-metre-wide” staircase. All handrails were stainless steel and glass, giving the required look and feel of a “high end” retail shopping experience for their wholesale clients.
The mezzanine was fire rated, with a suspended ceiling to the underside, column cases and fire fascia, to meet Building Regulations requirements.
In order to provide a safe and efficient way to transfer goods to the new mezzanine floor, Premier also supplied and installed a 500kgs goods lift with mesh enclosure.
Alongside the mezzanine floor and goods lift, Premier also carried out partitioning works to form ground floor storage rooms and offices.
The project was completed to a strict timescale for a “grand opening” date. Premier have since returned and extended the mezzanine floor twice, since the original installation to provide additional space.
