An increased student intake led Bath College to reach out to Premier Mezzanines to expand their carpentry training area to accommodate the influx of students.
Our team also handled the fire rating for the newly constructed mezzanine, column cases, and fascia in addition to two PartK staircases, LED lighting panels, and emergency lighting. Bath College had a strict deadline to complete all of the work by the end of the October half term.

Training Area Mezzanine Floor Bath for Bath College
Bath College first approached Premier Mezzanines after an increased intake of new students. This meant that there existing carpentry training area must be expanded to meet their new needs.
The mezzanine floor was key in facilitating the new students and had to conform to building regulations. As well as two PartK staircases our team carried out the fire rating which included a suspended ceiling below the new mezzanine, column cases, and fascia.
Both on top of and below the mezzanine needed has specific lighting and electrical requirements. This included LED lighting panels in the suspended ceiling below complete with emergency lighting.
On top of the mezzanine, the client needed specific power and there were existing lights that needed to be adjusted which was also completed by Premier Mezzanines.
Bath College had a strict deadline for the entire project with all works being completed in the October half term.
